Poetic Thoughts of a Rebel was created to make up for the flaws that were displayed in the first edition of Shawn Hudson’s poetic debut. With the current state of America looking more, and more grim by the day it’s up to writers, poets, and other creatives to not only resist against a system that’s fueled by hatred, bigotry, and ignorance but to create change. Come along for the journey as we explore issues that many can relate to, but are sometimes apprehensive to speak on.

I’m a self published author of six books. I’m a author, poet and columnist for Beautiful Losers magazine. I’m a 25 years old Bronx native and look to continue providing unique stories poems and more about the black American experience.
