Camille Cabrera Interview

Tell us about yourself and what inspired you to start writing.

As a child, Camille Cabrera spent hours hiding underneath her bed covers with a flashlight and an excellent book, way past her bedtime. Eventually, she began to write short stories and poems that slowly grew into full-length novels.

Describe your writing process? Is there anything unique about it?

Have you published any books or do you have a desire to do so?
Mystery and suspense galore! Camille Cabrera strives to create novels that build interest with each turn of the page. She works to blend the everyday with the fantastic.

What do you like to do when you’re not writing? Full-time job, pets, hobbies?
Beach days and long car rides are a must. Ms. Cabrera spends her time recharging in the sun and letting her mind wander. Frequently, her new book ideas come from simple moments spent thinking on her beach days or hikes. The ideas pop-up and shine like a gleaming beacon during a dark stormy night at sea.

Are you working on a current project?
Yes! Camille Cabrera has two novels set for release at the end of 2021.

The Rule of Three is a fast-paced witchcraft novel that follows a high-strung CEO turned hapless occult dabbler. Witchcraft isn’t as easy as the movies make it seem.

The Mystery of Mistletoe Motel delves into the chaotic life of the Pondwater sisters as they struggle to save their family-run motel before Christmas. Careful ladies, a white lie has the potential to snowball, especially during the holidays.

Additionally, Ms. Cabrera has two top-secret projects brewing for 2022.
